Here are some amazing facial mask recipes with turmeric:

Chickpea yoghurt and turmeric face mask



  • 1 tablespoon chickpea flour
  • 1 tablespoon yoghurt
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon water (to mix easily)


Mix all ingredients together, if the mixture is too dry add more water accordingly. Smooth out the mixture and use a brush to apply evenly throughout your face and neck, wait for at least 20 minutes for it to dry. Wash your face with lukewarm water and gently pat your face dry.


Turmeric yogurt and honey face mask

If your skin is neither dry nor oily (or maybe even a little bit of both), you’re in luck: Either milk or yogurt will do the trick. Both allow the turmeric to easily to spread over your face which will in turn brighten and soften your skin. Pick your poison, add a pinch of turmeric powder, and then squirt in a bit of high-quality honey. This is amazing for a skin that’s a little, well, confused. Honey is humectant, so it will hydrate your skin. It also is acne’s worst nightmare, which makes it a great ingredient for those who have dry and acne-prone patches.


Radiant skin turmeric face mask

To make the double-radiance turmeric face mask, just blend one teaspoon of avocado with one teaspoon of yogurt as well as 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric powder.

To use:

You can apply this mask to your clean, dry face and allow it to work for 5 minutes. Once the mask has done its work, wash it off with cold water and pat dry to reveal beautifully radiant skin!

Baobab and turmeric face mask


  • 1 1/2 tsp Aduna Baobab Powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground turmeric
  • 15g oats
  • 2 tsp coconut oil, melted
  • 2 tbsp natural yoghurt
  • 1-2 tsp honey



Place all the ingredients in a bowl (or a blender) and mix well. Using a brush, apply a thin layer of the mask evenly all over your face (avoiding the eye and mouth area).

Leave on for 15-20 minutes, then wash off using warm water and a flannel. Pat your skin dry with a clean, dry towel.
