It also consists of anti-inflammatory properties which help to reduce the nerve and joint pain. Joint pain can be caused by injury affecting any of the ligaments, or tendons surrounding the joint. Here are two methods in which you can use the lemon peel to reduce the inflammation and pain in joints.

  1. Wrap Grated Lemon Peel


  • Lemon peel- 2 (from 2 medium sized lemons)

Take peel of 2 lemons and grate it careful. Only grate the yellow part of lemon peel and not the white one. Now, rub the peel directly on the affected part. Wrap it using a bandage. Leave the bandage on for 2 hours. Use this remedy twice a day to get rid of joint pain.

  1. Lemon Peels And Olive Oil


  • Lemon peel- 2 (from 2 medium sized lemons)
  • Olive oil

Place the peels of two lemons in a glass jar, and pour some olive oil over them. Close the jar and leave it to stand for 2 weeks. Afterward, the lemon oil will be ready for use. All you need to do is to pour some of it on gauze and place it on the affected area. Secure it with a bandage, and leave it to act during the night.
